  • Description: The butterfly bush is a succulent caned, large, arching shrub.  It can be pruned to the ground in spring since it flowers on the new growth.  The foliage will persist in mild winters and is attractive in with shades of gray and green.  This bush has many different flowering varieties (blue, dark purple, yellow, white, red, and pink).  It grows rather fast and when cut in the spring may reach 5' - 8' tall by fall.American Beautyberry thrieves in the carolinas and does well with minimal care.
  • Size: Can range from 10' - 15' when full grown, but usually range from 5 - 10'.
