  • Sunlight: full sun to partial shade
  • Description: The D. D. Blanchard Magnolia is an evergreen tree with dark green leaves and fragrant flowers during the late spring and early summer. It has rose-red berries on a cone like structure in the fall, and the leaves have a rich brown fuzz on the underside. It grows at a moderate rate, in a pyramidal shape, and is drought tolerant when established.  It can be used as a specimen, or as a screen.
  • Size: 75' tall and 30' - 40' wide when full grown
